We look forward to meeting you!

Storytelling Experience

Join Aboriginal artists local to the Kimberley, as they guide you through the deep cultural meaning woven into their artwork. Hear the stories handed down through generations and learn about Country, culture, language and more. Here how these narratives shape each brushstroke, symbol, and colour.

Artists will share:

  • The cultural stories connected to their artwork

  • The significance of motifs, patterns, and designs

  • How art preserves history, memory, and language

  • Their personal journeys as artists and knowledge-holders

This is storytelling in its truest form grounded in Country, culture, and community.

  • Explore traditional and contemporary art practices

  • Hear cultural stories shared directly by artists

  • Learn about art symbols, history of art, Dreaming, Country, language, culture and community

  • Create your own artwork to take home

  • Support an Aboriginal owned and operated business
